Attach a ribbon to the doll

Last week I published the pattern for the Kokeshi doll above.  Below is explained how to attach the  ribbon for the keyring.

Use a 5 or 7 mm Ribbon. Cut 12 inches (30 cm) long. Use tapestry needle to pull the ribbon through the top of head, fold ribbon in half, hold them together and sew button (or use beads, sequin, ect.) on the ribbons.

New crochet hooks

I bought a new set of crochet hooks from Clover. These came out last year and are very comfortable.

This free crochet pattern explains how to crochet little Kokeshi Amigurumi dolls. A basic knowledge of crochet is required.

Kokeshi dolls are traditional wooden dolls from northern Japan. They have an enlarged head. You can decorate these little dolls with flowers, bows or ribbons. You can make them as a keychain or decoration. They make a nice gift for Christmas.

This pattern is available for download:

I will make it soon available also on the Apple iBookstore and Google Play.
